Spectators: 7371 (Terracing: 5529, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 147) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paripi's Filipe Diniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dino Ribeiro in the 21st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, José Pedro Teles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Golden Dogs's supporters rose to their feet, but José Pedro Teles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filipe Diniz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nuno Dantas struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Filipe Diniz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Golden Dogs. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 1-0 when José Pedro Teles sped through Paripi's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Filipe Diniz. In the 39th minute, Golden Dogs's Dino Ribeiro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Filipe Diniz. Filipe Diniz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Umberto Cruz made a kick off. Ronaldão Mineiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Ronaldão Mineiro came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Golden Dogs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronaldão Mineiro couldn't finish the play. In the 54th match minute, Paripi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giovani Reis to maneuver through the defense. If José Pedro Teles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dino Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nuno Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Diniz having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Pedro Teles in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filipe Diniz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 66th minute, Giovani Reis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nuno Dantas in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filipe Diniz saved Paripi from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Paripi's zone, Nuno Dantas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filipe Diniz came out of the goal and Nuno Dantas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 88 minutes into the match, Paripi's goal looked a bit too open when Dino Ribeiro came free, but Filipe Diniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Pedro Teles in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filipe Diniz saved Paripi from getting behind. In the 91st minute Umberto Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evrosi Sakaliyski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 98 minutes into the match, Paripi's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Dantas came free, but Filipe Diniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filipe Diniz didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Golden Dogs's José Pedro Teles shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute.
