In the 12th minute Nilmar Macedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cícero Cosme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baltazar Rosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Recuperado SS's goal looked a bit too open when Nelsinho Antunes came free, but Claudinei Prata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 23 played minutes, Real Atlético Estados's Jorginho Cordeiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Claudinei Prata came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Real Atlético Estados reached it. With a little luck, Real Atlético Estados's Cícero Cosme got control of the ball when Baltazar Rosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Real Atlético Estados's Hílton Souza got a free kick in the 29th minute. Nilmar Macedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Cícero Cosme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Betinho Zonta fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Atlético Estados's protests and gave Betinho Zonta a yellow card for diving instead. In the 34th minute, Betinho Zonta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Baltazar Rosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Recuperado SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Baltazar Rosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cícero Cosme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Recuperado SS getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Jefferson Hoffmann hit a great ball. Claudinei Prata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walmir Tepedino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Recuperado SS's Baltazar Rosa got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Claudinei Prata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelsinho Antunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Nelsinho Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinei Prata having to interfere. In the 64thth minute of the game Baltazar Rosa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Atlético Estados's Cícero Cosme was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nilmar Macedo took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cícero Cosme. Cícero Cosme dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After 70 played minutes Recuperado SS got a freekick which was hit by Nilmar Macedo. Nelsinho Antunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Claudinei Prata made an important save on a dangerous shot by Walmir Tepedino in the 78th minute. Jefferson Hoffmann hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Cícero Cosme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nilmar Macedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Recuperado SS's Claudinei Prata proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Recuperado SS from getting a goal against them. Nelsinho Antunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Real Atlético Estados's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
