Umberto Cruz succeeded in the game's 15th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. In the 19th minute, Hortêncio Mandrak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jaime Abreu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Afonso Toledo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 25th match minute, Meninos da Vila was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilson Silveira to maneuver through the defense. Adhemar Sena hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Filipe Diniz came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Meninos da Vila's Hortêncio Mandrak. But to his dismay, Hortêncio Mandrak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Umberto Cruz's late challenge caught a Meninos da Vila's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Umberto Cruz helped the player get up and apologised. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Umberto Cruz made a kick off. Gernando Meireles hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the match, Paripi's goalkeeper Filipe Diniz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hortêncio Mandrak. In the 65th minute, Hortêncio Mandrak made a precise shot to the right of Filipe Diniz. Paripi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Hortêncio Mandrak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Diniz having to interfere. Hortêncio Mandrak kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Meninos da Vila defense, Jaime Abreu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Afonso Toledo. The Meninos da Vila fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Afonso Toledo should have stopped the shot. Jaime Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hortêncio Mandrak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Filipe Diniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th match minute, Meninos da Vila was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilson Silveira to maneuver through the defense. Paripi's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
