Tomé Barral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Brodel in the 23rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Isaltino Vinhas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Videu SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaltino Vinhas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomé Barral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 55th minute, Igor Travassos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Naldo Ortiz hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. When Claudinei Lago, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 61 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Luís Fernando Trevisan was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Paulo Eger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute.
