Wilson Silveira charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilson Silveira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 23 played minutes Meninos da Vila got a freekick which was hit by Wilson Silveira. In the 26th minute, Otávio Lago left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Meninos da Vila fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 32 minutes into the match, Real Atlético Estados's goalkeeper Cícero Cosme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Otávio Lago. Caetano Massa kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. A collision led to Meninos da Vila getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Wilson Silveira hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Nelsinho Antunes made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Nelsinho Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Meninos da Vila's Caetano Massa got a free kick in the 56th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Otávio Lago had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cícero Cosme. Real Atlético Estados's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Otávio Lago was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Daniel Rosado hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the match, Meninos da Vila's goalkeeper Afonso Toledo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Walmir Tepedino. In the 80th minute, Otávio Lago got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Walmir Tepedino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 87 played minutes Real Atlético Estados got a freekick which was hit by Jorginho Cordeiro. 91 minutes into the game, Otávio Lago was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Meninos da Vila's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Atlético Estados the free kick. The supporters of Real Atlético Estados booed when Meninos da Vila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otávio Lago didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94thth minute of the game Nelsinho Antunes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Meninos da Vila's Afonso Toledo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 96 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Meninos da Vila! Meninos da Vila were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
