Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nilmar Vidal took the kick off in the first half of the match. Alan Torres hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Nilmar Vidal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without César França having to make a save. In the 10th match minute, Jaguar Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Almir Araújo to maneuver through the defense. Cleiton Pimenta kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Nilmar Meireles who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Rodolfo da Cunha when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Pascom's César França played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilmar Vidal in the 22nd minute of play. The Jaguar Futebol Clube fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Jaguar Futebol Clube's Nilmar Vidal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Delfim da Fonseca hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nilmar Meireles got free with Rodolfo da Cunha in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Jaguar Futebol Clube's Rodolfo da Cunha got control of the ball when Ciro Camargo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rafael Varela to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Pascom booed when Jaguar Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Almir Araújo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafael Varela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pascom's Nilton Salgado pulled a muscle in his back after 55 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Carlos Augusto Paes charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Augusto Paes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Jaguar Futebol Clube's Carlos Augusto Paes got a free kick in the 56th minute. Rodolfo da Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilmar Meireles in the 58th minute of play. Pascom's César França proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Pascom from getting a goal against them. If Genílson Loyola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Carlos Augusto Paes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nilmar Meireles took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodolfo da Cunha. Rodolfo da Cunha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Genílson Loyola's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but César França read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Genílson Loyola could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but César França made a huge save. After 76 minutes of play, Pascom's Nilmar Meireles made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodolfo da Cunha was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Nilmar Vidal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving César França. That made the score 2-2 in the 86 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Genílson Loyola managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jaguar Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Genílson Loyola was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. César França breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Sandrinho Trancoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
