Narciso Prata didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Clube Atlético Canhoba defense, Diamantino Branco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Samuel Coelho. The Clube Atlético Canhoba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Samuel Coelho should have stopped the shot. Hernani Dracena made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Vitório Paraibano sent off a good shot on target. Acácio Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Samuel Coelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Lux Lupus Psycho Club fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Lux Lupus Psycho Club's Acácio Velasco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Fábio da Mata managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lux Lupus Psycho Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Fábio da Mata was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samuel Coelho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 36 minutes, Acácio Velasco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lux Lupus Psycho Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Acácio Velasco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th minute Fábio da Mata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Acácio Velasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Vitório Paraibano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Diamantino Branco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Acácio Velasco to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Osvaldinho de Toledo notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Lux Lupus Psycho Club's Hernani Dracena. Hernani Dracena was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Acácio Velasco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Samuel Coelho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Vitório Paraibano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hernani Dracena having to make a save. Hernani Dracena came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Clube Atlético Canhoba's Osvaldinho de Toledo. But to his dismay, Osvaldinho de Toledo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Clube Atlético Canhoba's Samuel Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Acácio Velasco in the 77th minute of play. After 77 played minutes Clube Atlético Canhoba got a freekick which was hit by Laércio da Fonseca. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fábio da Mata got free with Samuel Coelho in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fábio da Mata struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Samuel Coelho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lux Lupus Psycho Club. Osvaldinho de Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Hernani Dracena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hernani Dracena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitório Paraibano in the 86th minute of play. Laércio da Fonseca scored 4-2 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hernani Dracena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Clube Atlético Canhoba's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
