César França came out of the goal and Alfredo dos Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Alfredo dos Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jandiritiua's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo dos Santos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. César França breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexandre Rezende in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck César França prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Jandiritiua booed when Pascom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cléber Linhares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zico Beckenbauer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Varela in the 23rd minute of play. In the 27th minute, Nilmar Meireles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 31st minute, Jandiritiua's Alexandre Rezende ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind César França. César França yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Alfredo dos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without César França having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alexandre Rezende to strike the kick off in the second half. César França showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Rezende, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Alexandre Rezende took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised César França. César França dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Alexandre Rezende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without César França having to interfere. César França was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Rafael Varela kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zico Beckenbauer. That made the score 4-1 in the 82 minute of play. After having played for 93 minutes, Alexandre Rezende managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jandiritiua's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandre Rezende was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfredo dos Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. César França tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jandiritiua's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
