The supporters of Portilho F.C. booed when Pascom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cléber Linhares didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 31 played minutes Portilho F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Donato Dante. Rony Toledo hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Pascom's zone, Walmir Mendes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. César França came out of the goal and Walmir Mendes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pascom's goalkeeper César França, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half Pascom were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedrinho Brito to strike the kick off in the second half. 1-1 became the score in the 54th minute when Pedrinho Brito elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Pedrinho Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Portilho F.C.'s zone, Rafael Varela stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severino Paraíba came out of the goal and Rafael Varela tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 64th minute, Donato Dante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the game, Ciro Camargo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pascom's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Portilho F.C. the free kick. The supporters of Portilho F.C. booed when Pascom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Camargo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vânderson Vasconcelos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without César França having to make a save. After 87 played minutes Portilho F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Diogo Valladares. Rafael Varela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Severino Paraíba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
