Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Portilho F.C.'s Pedrinho Brito got a free kick in the 5th minute. When Pedro Paulo Leite came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Karanda F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Paulo Leite couldn't finish the play. Portilho F.C.'s Severino Paraíba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Portilho F.C. from getting a goal against them. Severino Paraíba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celsinho Souto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, Portilho F.C.'s goalkeeper Severino Paraíba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Paulo Leite. Severino Paraíba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucas Varela in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Karanda F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Pedrinho Brito came free, but Carlos Alberto Donato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Karanda F.C.'s Matheus Fernandez got a free kick in the 22nd minute. If Celsinho Souto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Karanda F.C. booed when Portilho F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Dante didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Paulo Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Severino Paraíba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Alberto Donato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedrinho Brito in the 45th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Celsinho Souto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Paraíba having to interfere. Vânderson Vasconcelos took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Alberto Donato. Carlos Alberto Donato dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 65th minute of the match Severino Secco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Severino Paraíba showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Portilho F.C.'s zone, Pedro Paulo Leite stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severino Paraíba came out of the goal and Pedro Paulo Leite tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Celsinho Souto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro Paulo Leite struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Severino Paraíba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karanda F.C.. 78 minutes into the match, Karanda F.C.'s Celsinho Souto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Severino Paraíba narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Severino Paraíba came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Karanda F.C.'s Pedro Paulo Leite. But to his dismay, Pedro Paulo Leite quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Portilho F.C.'s Severino Paraíba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Paulo Leite in the 90th minute of play. When Celsinho Souto came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Karanda F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celsinho Souto couldn't finish the play. Celsinho Souto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
