The referee ignored Capitão FC's protests and gave Jacinto Nascimento a yellow card for diving instead. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Orlando Godoi made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Orlando Godoi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Capitão FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Orlando Godoi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodolfo da Cunha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The tension between the Jaguar Futebol Clube and the Capitão FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Evaristo Leão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Capitão FC's Gilvan Paraense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilmar Vidal in the 92nd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Jaguar Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Godoi came free, but Rodolfo da Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Capitão FC's Evaristo Leão got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Jaguar Futebol Clube supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Capitão FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Capitão FC.
