Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Pascom's Rafael Varela started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Pascom's Luiz Gustavo Secco got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After 20 minutes of play, Capitão FC's Orlando Godoi made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. César França was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 23rd minute Evaristo Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but César França saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nilmar Meireles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafael Varela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. César França showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Godoi in the 33rd minute of the match. Eliseu Almeida's late challenge caught a Capitão FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliseu Almeida helped the player get up and apologised. Nelson de Castro hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute, Orlando Godoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. César França took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Leão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nilmar Meireles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Orlando Godoi made a kick off. Orlando Godoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without César França having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luiz Gustavo Secco during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Capitão FC booed when Pascom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Gustavo Secco didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Varela in the 64th minute of play forced Capitão FC's goalkeeper Gilvan Paraense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the game, Nelson de Castro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Capitão FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pascom the free kick. Nelson de Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Pascom's zone, Orlando Godoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. César França came out of the goal and Orlando Godoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 76 minutes in the game, Orlando Godoi dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 78th minute, Nelson de Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Evaristo Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evaristo Leão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without César França having to interfere. Rafael Varela struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Gilvan Paraense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pascom. An unexpected shot in the 92nd minute by Evaristo Leão got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Capitão FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
