Celso Gonçalves ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, FCBarcelona's Jeremias da Fonseca got control of the ball when Celso Gonçalves tried to sneak it across the goal line. Douglas Esteves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benê Dionísio, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benê Dionísio in the 35th minute of play forced Clube Atlético Juventus's goalkeeper Douglas Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Dalmo Leão fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benê Dionísio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Eurico Porto, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 52 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Jeremias da Fonseca was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Douglas Esteves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benê Dionísio in the 56th minute of play. If Benê Dionísio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, Luís Fabiano Nóbrega hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61stth minute of the game Celso Gonçalves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FCBarcelona's Jeremias da Fonseca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Douglas Esteves made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Vitório Novaes sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 65 minutes, Benê Dionísio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FCBarcelona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benê Dionísio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benê Dionísio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FCBarcelona's Vitório Novaes got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vitório Novaes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas Esteves having to interfere. Dalmo Leão might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeremias da Fonseca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dalmo Leão ran back to his position shaking his head. Jeremias da Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmo Leão, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After 84 minutes of play, Clube Atlético Juventus's Eurico Porto made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clube Atlético Juventus's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
