Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gláuber Vinhas started the match with the kick off. If Sandrinho de Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Telmo Bueno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Hernani Tande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gláuber Vinhas in the 15th minute of play forced Juaba's goalkeeper Hernani Tande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gláuber Vinhas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Hernani Tande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nilmar Tavares hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Gláuber Vinhas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernani Tande having to interfere. After 26 minutes, Jardel Varela mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juaba and the Guerem players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Guerem booed when Juaba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jardel Varela didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gláuber Vinhas struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Hernani Tande didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guerem. A hard shot 31 in the game by Telmo Bueno from a close distance when the talented Hernani Tande managed to make a qualified save. Juaba's players were relieved. Hernani Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Telmo Bueno in the 35th minute of play. Hernani Tande came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Guerem's Telmo Bueno. But to his dismay, Telmo Bueno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After having played for 43 minutes, Telmo Bueno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guerem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Telmo Bueno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gláuber Vinhas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Hernani Tande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Juaba's Hernani Tande got control of the ball when Telmo Bueno tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sandrinho de Sousa to strike the kick off in the second half. Aírton Lucas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Gilmar Dantas made a huge save. When Juaba's Sandrinho de Sousa in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guerem's goalie prevented a goal. After 58 played minutes Guerem got a freekick which was hit by Gerson Lara. Hernani Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Telmo Bueno in the 65th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Telmo Bueno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guerem's supporters rose to their feet, but Telmo Bueno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hernani Tande breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gláuber Vinhas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernani Tande having to interfere. Hernani Tande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Telmo Bueno in the 76th minute of the match. Sandrinho de Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Gilmar Dantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute Gláuber Vinhas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernani Tande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gláuber Vinhas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gláuber Vinhas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hernani Tande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Telmo Bueno in the 94th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Juaba's zone, Telmo Bueno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hernani Tande came out of the goal and Telmo Bueno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guerem's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
