After a defensive mix-up in Catalao's zone, Ruy Paranaense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raúl Carvalho came out of the goal and Ruy Paranaense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 14th minute, Ruy Paranaense ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raúl Carvalho was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. João Augusto Damião received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tomas Camerino came out and tried to block the shot, but João Augusto Damião slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 18th minute. When João Vítor Jacinto fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Os Brabos's protests and gave João Vítor Jacinto a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st match minute, Os Brabos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Vítor Jacinto to maneuver through the defense. After 24 minutes of play, Os Brabos's Ruy Paranaense made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raúl Carvalho was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 30th minute Ruy Paranaense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raúl Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Catalao getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. João Augusto Damião hit a great ball. Vítor Santana charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vítor Santana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vítor Santana kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Raúl Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vítor Santana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th match minute, Catalao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedito de Lara to maneuver through the defense. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raúl Carvalho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Ruy Paranaense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. João Augusto Damião was the one to do the kick off. Vítor Santana struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Raúl Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Os Brabos. Ruy Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raúl Carvalho having to interfere. Ruy Paranaense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 1-4 when João Vítor Jacinto sped through Catalao's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Raúl Carvalho. Vítor Santana was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 63rd minute. Os Brabos's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Os Brabos's Ruy Paranaense in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Catalao's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruy Paranaense got free with Raúl Carvalho in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Raúl Carvalho made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Ruy Paranaense sent off a good shot on target. João Augusto Damião recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raúl Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vítor Santana in the 73rd minute of the match. João Augusto Damião received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Tomas Camerino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 77 in the game by Ruy Paranaense from a close distance when the talented Raúl Carvalho managed to make a qualified save. Catalao's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Ruy Paranaense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Os Brabos's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruy Paranaense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raúl Carvalho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. João Vítor Jacinto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raúl Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vítor Santana in the 86th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Os Brabos's Ruy Paranaense sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raúl Carvalho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If João Augusto Damião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the match, Os Brabos's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo José Sena came free, but Tomas Camerino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Catalao's Raúl Carvalho got control of the ball when João Vítor Jacinto tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Catalao fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Os Brabos were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
