Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ruy Paranaense started the match with the kick off. After 9 played minutes Os Brabos got a freekick which was hit by João Vítor Jacinto. Telmo Bueno charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Telmo Bueno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 11th minute, Telmo Bueno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilmar Dantas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruy Paranaense, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Geovânio Romero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Camerino having to interfere. When Vítor Santana fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Os Brabos's protests and gave Vítor Santana a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Os Brabos getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Vítor Santana hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Os Brabos's zone, Gláuber Vinhas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Camerino came out of the goal and Gláuber Vinhas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomas Camerino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Telmo Bueno in the 20th minute. Guerem's Gilmar Dantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anísio Faria in the 22nd minute of play. João Vítor Jacinto kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. When Ruy Paranaense came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Os Brabos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruy Paranaense couldn't finish the play. Gilmar Dantas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruy Paranaense in the 33rd minute of play. João Vítor Jacinto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilmar Dantas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Tomas Camerino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovânio Romero in the 35th minute of the match. If Anísio Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruy Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilmar Dantas having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Ruy Paranaense ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilmar Dantas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Gilmar Dantas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruy Paranaense in the 46th minute of play. Gilmar Dantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Vítor Jacinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gláuber Vinhas to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Os Brabos's goal looked a bit too open when Telmo Bueno came free, but Tomas Camerino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When João Vítor Jacinto fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. After some careless play in the Os Brabos defense, Gláuber Vinhas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomas Camerino. The Os Brabos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomas Camerino should have stopped the shot. Geovânio Romero charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Geovânio Romero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Os Brabos booed when Guerem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovânio Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute of the match Guerem got a corner. Os Brabos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Erik Santana ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Guerem's Erik Santana to fire away a dangerous shot which Tomas Camerino despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gláuber Vinhas scored 3-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomas Camerino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Guerem's Ademar de Sousa got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 86th minute, Amílton Nogueira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guerem fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. João Vítor Jacinto kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Guerem walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
