But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abel Miranda couldn't finish the play. 6 minutes into the match, Buzios AD's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Dias came free, but João Francisco de Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute, Abel Miranda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Araça F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Abel Miranda came free, but Alex Rezende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Abel Miranda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alex Rezende. Araça F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abel Miranda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 31 played minutes Buzios AD got a freekick which was hit by Tarcisio Dionísio. If Ismael Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, Buzios AD's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Dias came free, but João Francisco de Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alex Rezende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natã Paraense in the 40th minute of the match. Natã Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute of the match, Isaltino Dias got a very nice opportunity to score, but João Francisco de Lima was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The Araça F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Buzios AD were winning 0-1.

After a rather tough play, Araça F.C.'s Antônio Mineiro got a free kick in the 51st minute. Buzios AD's Natã Paraense got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isaltino Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Francisco de Lima having to interfere. After some careless play in the Buzios AD defense, Ismael Dias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Francisco de Lima. The Buzios AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Francisco de Lima should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Isaltino Dias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Araça F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Isaltino Dias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Francisco de Lima breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abel Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Alex Rezende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alex Rezende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natã Paraense, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Araça F.C.'s Alex Rezende proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Araça F.C. from getting a goal against them. Buzios AD's João Francisco de Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaltino Dias in the 70th minute of play. Ismael Dias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Francisco de Lima read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Isaltino Dias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Araça F.C.'s Dieguinho Moura got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Alex Rezende made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomás Torres in the 83rd minute. 91 minutes into the match, Araça F.C.'s Ismael Dias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Francisco de Lima narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Buzios AD players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
