When Imperadores FC's Bebeto Tande in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye EC Relâmpago's goalie prevented a goal. Juarês Bittencourt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bebeto Tande in the 25th minute of the match. Tadeu Pontes kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Imperadores FC's goalkeeper Gualter do Valle, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Juarês Bittencourt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bebeto Tande in the 41st minute of play. Gualter do Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magno Capixaba in the 45th minute of the match. Bebeto Tande recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Allan Barbosa was the one to do the kick off. Anderson Paranaense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gualter do Valle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EC Relâmpago. Allan Barbosa might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gualter do Valle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Allan Barbosa ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Magno Capixaba got free with Gualter do Valle in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gualter do Valle stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Allan Barbosa's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched EC Relâmpago eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
