When Magno Capixaba came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the EC Relâmpago fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Magno Capixaba couldn't finish the play. Juarês Bittencourt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nilton Zanette in the 23rd minute of the match. With a little luck, EC Relâmpago's Juarês Bittencourt got control of the ball when Fiori Bezerra tried to sneak it across the goal line. Magno Capixaba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Gilmar Maia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Allan Barbosa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilmar Maia was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fiori Bezerra got free with Juarês Bittencourt in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nilton Zanette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juarês Bittencourt having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Sapuparo AD's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Barbosa came free, but Gilmar Maia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, Magno Capixaba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luisão Simões kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match.
