Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Aírton Moura got the match started through his kick off. If Fausto Xavier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cristian Romero came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Araioses AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Romero couldn't finish the play. Cristian Romero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonçalo Domingues having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Romeu Sá's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zé Augusto Mesquita was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. If Aírton Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th match minute, Araioses AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Durval Custódio to maneuver through the defense. After 19 played minutes Araioses AD got a freekick which was hit by Silvério das Neves. Romeu Sá took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zé Augusto Mesquita. Zé Augusto Mesquita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Aírton Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Zé Augusto Mesquita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gonçalo Domingues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Romero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luan Proença might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gonçalo Domingues. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luan Proença ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half Cotias FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Cristian Romero made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Araioses AD getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Silvério das Neves hit a great ball. Aírton Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Cristian Romero came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Araioses AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Romero couldn't finish the play. Cristian Romero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Gonçalo Domingues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Romero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonçalo Domingues having to interfere. If Luan Proença had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 71 minutes, Luan Proença managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Araioses AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luan Proença was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 72 minutes, Fausto Xavier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cotias FC and the Araioses AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gonçalo Domingues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luan Proença in the 78th minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, Zé Carlos Mandrak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cotias FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Araioses AD the free kick. After a rather tough play, Cotias FC's Zé Carlos Mandrak got a free kick in the 79th minute. Cristian Romero struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Gonçalo Domingues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Araioses AD. If Romeu Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romeu Sá recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Aírton Moura kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zé Augusto Mesquita. That made the score 0-2 in the 85 minute of play. Cristian Romero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonçalo Domingues having to interfere. Cotias FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
