Dadá Sarmento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilton Zanette in the 12th minute of play. If Tales Zanette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, José Paulo Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot. ZéManéS S.C's supporters rose to their feet, but José Paulo Rodrigues was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilmar Maia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. ZéManéS S.C's José Paulo Rodrigues got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tales Zanette in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilmar Maia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. ZéManéS S.C's Dadá Sarmento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fiori Bezerra in the 29th minute of play. After having played for 32 minutes, Jairo Leão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ZéManéS S.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jairo Leão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Sapuparo AD's Gilmar Maia got control of the ball when José Paulo Rodrigues tried to sneak it across the goal line. José Paulo Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tales Zanette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tales Zanette made a kick off. José Paulo Rodrigues's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilmar Maia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute, Sapuparo AD's Nilton Zanette dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. In the 58th minute, Tales Zanette left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ZéManéS S.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After 62nd play minutes Tales Zanette shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Gilmar Maia and just under the crossbar into goal. If Tales Zanette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Paulo Rodrigues in the 74th minute of play forced Sapuparo AD's goalkeeper Gilmar Maia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Tales Zanette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the match, Sapuparo AD's goal looked a bit too open when Tales Zanette came free, but Gilmar Maia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fiori Bezerra got free with Dadá Sarmento in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Anselmo Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tales Zanette in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilmar Maia saved Sapuparo AD from getting behind. Anselmo Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilmar Maia having to interfere. If Anselmo Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilmar Maia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Paulo Rodrigues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
