Templarius FC - FDFDF's Juninho Perez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Barbosa in the 5th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Templarius FC - FDFDF's Waldir Paranaense sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juarês Bittencourt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, EC Relâmpago's Dráuzio Pires got a free kick in the 10th minute. That made the score 1-0 after 18 minutes of play. Templarius FC - FDFDF's Waldir Paranaense couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 27th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for EC Relâmpago. 31 minutes into the game, Templarius FC - FDFDF's Silvério Paulista nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juarês Bittencourt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Giovani Sá's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Juarês Bittencourt skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Waldir Paranaense stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Anderson Paranaense fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored EC Relâmpago's protests and gave Anderson Paranaense a yellow card for diving instead. In the 59th minute, Anderson Paranaense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute Waldir Paranaense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juarês Bittencourt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Allan Barbosa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juninho Perez was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. If Waldir Paranaense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the game, Templarius FC - FDFDF's Henrique Donatello nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juarês Bittencourt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Henrique Donatello might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juarês Bittencourt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henrique Donatello ran back to his position shaking his head. Juninho Perez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Magno Capixaba in the 80th minute. If Waldir Paranaense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Templarius FC - FDFDF booed when EC Relâmpago was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Templarius FC - FDFDF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henrique Donatello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 98th match minute, Templarius FC - FDFDF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giovani Sá to maneuver through the defense.
