In the 4th minute, Kiko Albuquerque got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Juvenal Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uichibine FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Juvenal Lara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Umberto Rodrigues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 10 minutes into the match, Pedrinha's goal looked a bit too open when Juvenal Lara came free, but Umberto Rodrigues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caio Amorim took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lino Madureira. Uichibine FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. César Messias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Lino Madureira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Uichibine FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Thomás Peixoto hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the match, Uichibine FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kiko Albuquerque came free, but Lino Madureira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedrinha's César Messias got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thomás Peixoto got his second yellow card in the match during the 20th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 20 played minutes Uichibine FC got a freekick which was hit by Thomás Peixoto. Caio Amorim charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Caio Amorim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 24 minutes, Fred Lopez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uichibine FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fred Lopez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ezequiel Antunes scored 1-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Umberto Rodrigues, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pedrinha's Umberto Rodrigues proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Pedrinha from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Uichibine FC booed when Pedrinha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Messias didn't get a good kick on the ball. César Messias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If João Francisco da Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kiko Albuquerque in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lino Madureira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pedrinha's César Messias got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. César Messias might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lino Madureira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. César Messias ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kiko Albuquerque in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lino Madureira saved Uichibine FC from getting behind. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ezequiel Antunes made a kick off. Ezequiel Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the match, Uichibine FC's goalkeeper Lino Madureira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kiko Albuquerque. Pedrinha's João Francisco da Rocha got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedrinha's César Messias got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 68 minutes into the game, Pedrinha's César Messias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lino Madureira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Pedrinha's Umberto Rodrigues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Antunes in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute, João Francisco da Rocha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 75th minute César Messias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Madureira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedrinha's César Messias got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lino Madureira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kiko Albuquerque's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. If César Messias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pedrinha's Kiko Albuquerque got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. João Francisco da Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Madureira having to interfere. When Kiko Albuquerque in the 96th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Lino Madureira kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-2 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Pedrinha's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
