In the 8th minute, Pedro das Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Renatinho Mineiro, 9 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to Pirracao getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Téo Cruz hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the match, Pirracao's goal looked a bit too open when Tomé Moreno came free, but Hamílton Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fellipe Rocha was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Tostão de Sousa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tostão de Sousa really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The supporters of SolskG booed when Pirracao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Téo Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulinho Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamílton Mendonça having to interfere. Tomé Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute, Tostão de Sousa fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Elói Bittencourt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Fellipe Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dito Cordeiro during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dito Cordeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Tostão de Sousa struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Fellipe Rocha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pirracao. After a defensive mix-up in SolskG's zone, Elói Bittencourt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fellipe Rocha came out of the goal and Elói Bittencourt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fellipe Rocha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elói Bittencourt in the 42nd minute. Paulinho Perez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hamílton Mendonça read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tostão de Sousa was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th minute Tomé Moreno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamílton Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tomé Moreno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulinho Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamílton Mendonça having to interfere. With his leg Hamílton Mendonça managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when SolskG's Paulinho Perez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 75th minute, Téo Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute, Tomé Moreno fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Paulinho Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Pirracao getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Téo Cruz hit a great ball. Téo Cruz's late challenge caught a SolskG's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Téo Cruz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st minute, Téo Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hamílton Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomé Moreno, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Paulinho Perez might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hamílton Mendonça. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulinho Perez ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Paulinho Perez managed to get in a good position for a shot. SolskG's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulinho Perez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hamílton Mendonça breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. SolskG's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
