In the 7th minute, Alexandre Azevedo made a precise shot to the right of Vicente Passos. Barcelos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 13th minute, Silas Rezende ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vicente Passos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Clemente Vergílio charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clemente Vergílio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Clemente Vergílio hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Vicente Passos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guga Ferreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After 24 minutes, Gualter Damião mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barcelos and the HellCat Top Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 24th minute, Gualter Damião hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vicente Passos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silas Rezende, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th match minute, HellCat Top Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilvan Velloso to maneuver through the defense. Rony de Andrade struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Vladimir Vinhas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barcelos. Rony de Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimir Vinhas having to interfere. Barcelos's Vicente Passos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guga Ferreira in the 35th minute of play. Vicente Passos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guga Ferreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, Silas Rezende got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

54 minutes into the game, Barcelos's Clemente Vergílio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vladimir Vinhas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Vicente Passos didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 67th minute, which inside left pole to 1-5. Silas Rezende could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Vicente Passos made a huge save. 75 minutes into the match, Barcelos's goal looked a bit too open when Guga Ferreira came free, but Vicente Passos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of HellCat Top Team booed when Barcelos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandro Alves didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Barcelos's Clemente Vergílio got a free kick in the 79th minute. Vicente Passos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guga Ferreira in the 82nd minute of play. A collision led to Barcelos getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Sandro Alves hit a great ball. Barcelos's Clemente Vergílio got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Barcelos's zone, Guga Ferreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vicente Passos came out of the goal and Guga Ferreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. HellCat Top Team played a much better game than Barcelos and deserved their victory. The Barcelos players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
