Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Serginho Souza started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Hernani Bezerra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armandinho Barbosa's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Hernani Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Válter Correia in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armandinho Barbosa in the 26th minute of play forced Torreao's goalkeeper Hernani Bezerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 played minutes Chucky got a freekick which was hit by Armandinho Barbosa. After a defensive mix-up in Chucky's zone, João Moreno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Rosado came out of the goal and João Moreno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Serginho Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Edgar Rosado managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Torreao's João Moreno fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 42nd minute, Serginho Souza made a precise shot to the right of Edgar Rosado. Chucky's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. João Moreno in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Edgar Rosado, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Armandinho Barbosa made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Chucky's Armandinho Barbosa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hernani Bezerra. Hernani Bezerra yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Serginho Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If João Moreno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 59 played minutes Chucky got a freekick which was hit by Toninho Botelho. 67 minutes into the game, João Moreno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Edgar Rosado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 70 minutes, Serginho Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Torreao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serginho Souza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wanderson Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Rosado having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Serginho Souza in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgar Rosado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Válter Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Hernani Bezerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79thth minute of the game João Moreno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chucky's Edgar Rosado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 83rd minute Serginho Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Rosado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 85 minutes of play, Torreao's Serginho Souza made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgar Rosado was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Serginho Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Torreao's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
