C's Nilmar do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serginho Souza in the 3rd minute of play. João Moreno might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nilmar do Vale. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. João Moreno ran back to his position shaking his head. João Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute, João Moreno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Serginho Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilmar do Vale having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serginho Souza in the 23rd minute of play forced Galatassarrafo F. C's goalkeeper Nilmar do Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serginho Souza might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nilmar do Vale. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ediberto Sarmento got free with Hernani Bezerra in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ediberto Sarmento in the 30th minute of play forced Torreao's goalkeeper Hernani Bezerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Moreno struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Nilmar do Vale didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Torreao. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jeferson Linhares during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. João Moreno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Nilmar do Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nilmar do Vale didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Serginho Souza went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Serginho Souza made the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the match, Galatassarrafo F. C's goalkeeper Nilmar do Vale had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Moreno. The crowd rose to their feet as Serginho Souza kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nilmar do Vale. That made the score 0-3 in the 63 minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Doriva Zanette got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nilmar do Vale quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 75thth minute of the game Serginho Souza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Galatassarrafo F. C's Nilmar do Vale was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Nilmar do Vale managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Torreao's João Moreno fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Galatassarrafo F. C's Jeferson Linhares got his second yellow card of the match in the 76th minute. The referee ordered Jeferson Linhares off the ground. In the 77th match minute, Galatassarrafo F. C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeferson Linhares to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute, João Moreno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Torreao fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 85th minute, Oséias Mattos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Torreao's João Moreno got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rd minute, Torreao's Serginho Souza dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Torreao's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
