Chucky's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felippe Marinho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Válter Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armandinho Barbosa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Joaquim Santana came out and tried to block the shot, but Armandinho Barbosa slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 18th minute. Felippe Marinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Franklin Pontes in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgar Rosado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benedito Corrêa hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. With a little luck, KOBRA FC's Joaquim Santana got control of the ball when Jonas de Amaral tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joaquim Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toninho Botelho in the 41st minute of play. Válter Correia was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 42nd minute. Chucky's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Armandinho Barbosa took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Joaquim Santana to make any attempt to save it. Válter Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Joaquim Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Armandinho Barbosa was the one to do the kick off. Toninho Botelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute Franklin Pontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Rosado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. KOBRA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chucky the free kick. The supporters of Chucky booed when KOBRA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerson Dionísio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Armandinho Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chucky's supporters rose to their feet, but Armandinho Barbosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquim Santana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 64 minutes into the match, Chucky's Válter Correia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquim Santana narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chucky's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armandinho Barbosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joaquim Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Válter Correia, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Joaquim Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armandinho Barbosa in the 72nd minute of play. Edgar Rosado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franklin Pontes in the 75th minute of play. If Franklin Pontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgar Rosado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franklin Pontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Joaquim Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armandinho Barbosa in the 80th minute of play. When Kiko Trevisan fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KOBRA FC's protests and gave Kiko Trevisan a yellow card for diving instead. Armandinho Barbosa scored 3-1 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquim Santana, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Abelardo Dante hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Franklin Pontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Rosado having to interfere. When Felippe Marinho came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the KOBRA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felippe Marinho couldn't finish the play. In the 93rd minute, Franklin Pontes fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Edgar Rosado, passed just outside the right post. KOBRA FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
