The Veneto fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Veneto's Marquinhos de Moraes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Marquinhos de Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manfredo Tasso having to interfere. With a little luck, Jurumirim SC's Manfredo Tasso got control of the ball when Gabby Rondinone tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gabby Rondinone could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Manfredo Tasso made a huge save. Marquinhos de Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manfredo Tasso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marquinhos de Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Manfredo Tasso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabby Rondinone in the 44th minute. Marquinhos de Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Joel dos Santos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Reis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 62 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Veneto's Edgard Prata got a free kick in the 66th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Jurumirim SC's goal looked a bit too open when Gabby Rondinone came free, but Manfredo Tasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Aníbal Lira fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jurumirim SC's protests and gave Aníbal Lira a yellow card for diving instead. Gabby Rondinone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Jurumirim SC's zone, Cleiton Rossi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manfredo Tasso came out of the goal and Cleiton Rossi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 94 minutes into the match, Jurumirim SC's goal looked a bit too open when Cleiton Rossi came free, but Manfredo Tasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manfredo Tasso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabby Rondinone in the 95th minute of play. 4-1 became the score in the 97th minute when Gabby Rondinone elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Veneto's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
