Alfredinho Bastos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alessandro Vale having to make a save. After having played for 34 minutes, Betinho Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palmas FC Formosa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Betinho Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Nilmar do Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palmas FC Formosa's supporters rose to their feet, but Nilmar do Vale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kauã Sarmento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Andrézinho Fantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Palmas FC Formosa's Alessandro Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubinho Alves in the 47th minute of play. The Palmas FC Formosa players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. YouTube Futebol Clube were winning 0-1.

Kauã Sarmento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodriguinho Berger in the 79th minute of the match. Ronaldo Palmeira kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 89th minute of the game. One of Palmas FC Formosa:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of YouTube Futebol Clube:s goal. The referee gave YouTube Futebol Clube a penalty, 92 minutes into the game.
