Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cristian Reis kicked off to start the match. When Cristian Reis came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Jurumirim SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Reis couldn't finish the play. Oséias Mattos charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oséias Mattos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jeferson Linhares hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. A collision led to Jurumirim SC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Doriva Azevedo hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Galatassarrafo F. C's Hugo Cordeiro tried to score from far away in the 16th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to Galatassarrafo F. C getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Hugo Cordeiro hit a great ball. Celso Marinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Nilmar do Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Galatassarrafo F. C's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Cristian Reis 29 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Manfredo Tasso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ediberto Sarmento's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute, Jeferson Linhares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hugo Cordeiro, 42 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 44th minute, Ediberto Sarmento made a precise shot to the right of Manfredo Tasso. Jurumirim SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Cristian Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ediberto Sarmento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Jurumirim SC booed when Galatassarrafo F. C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ediberto Sarmento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nilmar do Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Reis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Galatassarrafo F. C's Jeferson Linhares got a free kick in the 64th minute. Nilmar do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Marinho in the 66th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the game, Jeferson Linhares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galatassarrafo F. C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jurumirim SC the free kick. In the 80th minute, Jeferson Linhares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abelardo Koehler took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nilmar do Vale. Galatassarrafo F. C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ediberto Sarmento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manfredo Tasso having to interfere. 88 minutes into the game, Ediberto Sarmento recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Manfredo Tasso. Ediberto Sarmento showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Manfredo Tasso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeferson Linhares in the 91st minute of play. Celso Marinho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nilmar do Vale read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Galatassarrafo F. C were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
