Doriva Zanette stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nilmar do Vale. 1-0. If João Moreno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Moreno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Nilmar do Vale made a huge save. In the 21st minute, Egídio Abreu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hugo Cordeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Torreao's Doriva Zanette shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 28th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Nilmar do Vale but with some difficulty. C's Nilmar do Vale was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. João Moreno's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Nilmar do Vale skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Serginho Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Nilmar do Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Serginho Souza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. João Moreno succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 44th playminute. João Moreno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Nilmar do Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Serginho Souza made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Serginho Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilmar do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nilmar do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serginho Souza in the 54th minute of the match. Serginho Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilmar do Vale having to interfere. If Célio de Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hernani Bezerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeferson Linhares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Egídio Abreu's late challenge caught a Torreao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Egídio Abreu helped the player get up and apologised. Egídio Abreu hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Serginho Souza struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Nilmar do Vale didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Torreao. Jeferson Linhares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernani Bezerra having to interfere. Célio de Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the match, Galatassarrafo F. C's goal looked a bit too open when Serginho Souza came free, but Nilmar do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. C's Nilmar do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serginho Souza in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84thth minute of the game João Moreno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Galatassarrafo F. C's Nilmar do Vale was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nilmar do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serginho Souza in the 85th minute of play. João Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Célio de Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Torreao's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
