After 36 minutes of play, Jonizo's Charles do Nascimento made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Natanael Barreto was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 40th play minute Ismael Cordeiro came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Marcelinho de Sousa. 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Natanael Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles do Nascimento in the 87th minute of the match. Natanael Barreto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Renatinho Lopes in the 88th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Jonizo's Charles do Nascimento slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Natanael Barreto. That made the score 1-5 after 94 minutes of play. When the match was over Jonizo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pinhal Futebol Clube throughout the match.
