Spectators: 6993 (Terracing: 5393, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Jeremias Freitas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean Cardoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. 4 minutes into the match, Rivers's Cláudio de Barros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jeremias Freitas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 7 minutes into the match, Rivers's goal looked a bit too open when Oséas Gaúcho came free, but Falcão Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oséas Gaúcho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Falcão Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of LOUCOZ BR booed when Rivers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilmar Linares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeremias Freitas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jean Cardoso's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. João Adolfo Damião was extremely unlucky when he, in the 35th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With his leg Falcão Fonseca managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when LOUCOZ BR's João Adolfo Damião fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Falcão Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Adolfo Damião, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeremias Freitas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cláudio de Barros in the 45th minute of play. Sandro Cardozo kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oséas Gaúcho to strike the kick off in the second half. When Jean Cardoso came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Rivers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jean Cardoso couldn't finish the play. After 59 played minutes Rivers got a freekick which was hit by Sandro Cardozo. Falcão Fonseca came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by LOUCOZ BR's Oséas Gaúcho. But to his dismay, Oséas Gaúcho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oséas Gaúcho in the 65th minute of play forced Rivers's goalkeeper Falcão Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oséas Gaúcho struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Falcão Fonseca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LOUCOZ BR. If João Adolfo Damião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeremias Freitas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cláudio de Barros in the 72nd minute. Jean Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the match, LOUCOZ BR's goalkeeper Jeremias Freitas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cláudio de Barros. Oséas Gaúcho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Falcão Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If João Adolfo Damião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 84 minutes into the match, Cláudio de Barros notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of LOUCOZ BR's Jeremias Freitas. Jeremias Freitas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of LOUCOZ BR booed when Rivers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilmar Linares didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Adolfo Damião fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Falcão Fonseca having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
