Guto Meira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ediberto Pimenta in the 14th minute of play. Umberto Neto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dário Eger's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. So Canela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Ediberto Pimenta scored to the left of an out of position Guto Meira, making the score, 1-0. Guto Meira made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Ediberto Pimenta sent off a good shot on target. Ediberto Pimenta's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Guto Meira firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 26th minute, O.S.Imperdoavéis's Silvério Goiano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. 30 minutes into the match, Ediberto Pimenta notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of So Canela's Guto Meira. Guto Meira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. So Canela's Guto Meira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save So Canela from getting a goal against them. Guto Meira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ediberto Pimenta in the 37th minute. When Ediberto Pimenta came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the O.S.Imperdoavéis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ediberto Pimenta couldn't finish the play. Guto Meira stood somewhat misplaced when Silvério Goiano came free in front of goal and shot 4-0 to the left of him in the 41 minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ediberto Pimenta was the one to do the kick off. O.S.Imperdoavéis were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after So Canela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Silvério Goiano took the corner. 54 minutes into the game, Ediberto Pimenta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Guto Meira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 59th minute of the match, Dário Eger tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Umberto Neto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Umberto Neto was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Roger Figueiredo. In the 66th match minute, O.S.Imperdoavéis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Brito to maneuver through the defense. After 67 played minutes, So Canela's Luiz Gustavo Cardozo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Umberto Neto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in So Canela reached it. With a little luck, O.S.Imperdoavéis's Umberto Neto got control of the ball when Jeferson Ribeiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 73rd minute Ediberto Pimenta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guto Meira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, So Canela's goal looked a bit too open when Ediberto Pimenta came free, but Guto Meira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ediberto Pimenta took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guto Meira. Guto Meira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. In the 86th match minute, So Canela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tião Gaúcho to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvério Goiano in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guto Meira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ediberto Pimenta in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guto Meira saved So Canela from getting behind. O.S.Imperdoavéis's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
