Spectators: 7185 (Terracing: 5391, Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 142) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Charles do Nascimento kicked off to start the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Charles do Nascimento in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robinho de Azevedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11th minute, Eusébio de Castro made a precise shot to the right of Robinho de Azevedo. Praia Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Claudinei Lucas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcelinho de Sousa came out and tried to block the shot, but Claudinei Lucas slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 16th minute. With a little luck, Jonizo's Marcelinho de Sousa got control of the ball when Thiago Paulista tried to sneak it across the goal line. Praia Clube's Robinho de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renatinho Lopes in the 24th minute of play. Renatinho Lopes scored 1-2 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robinho de Azevedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Renatinho Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Robinho de Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Charles do Nascimento came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Jonizo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charles do Nascimento couldn't finish the play. In the 40th minute Renatinho Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robinho de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eusébio de Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusébio de Castro in the 41st minute of play forced Praia Clube's goalkeeper Robinho de Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Renatinho Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46thth minute of the game Charles do Nascimento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Praia Clube's Robinho de Azevedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half Jonizo were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claudinei Lucas was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Charles do Nascimento lined in a short shot 1-3 behind a frustrated Robinho de Azevedo. 55 minutes into the match, Praia Clube's goalkeeper Robinho de Azevedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Renatinho Lopes. Charles do Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Marcelinho de Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Renatinho Lopes in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Robinho de Azevedo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Renatinho Lopes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robinho de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles do Nascimento in the 76th minute of play. A collision led to Praia Clube getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Sydney Valadares hit a great ball. Robinho de Azevedo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Charles do Nascimento showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 88 minute of play. In the 95th minute Claudinei Lucas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelinho de Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
