With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erik Ortiz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thiago Velasco in the 93rd minute of play forced Araçáunas's goalkeeper Erik Ortiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Bernex were the better team. Bernex's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
