With a little luck, Praia Clube's Robinho de Azevedo got control of the ball when João Adolfo Damião tried to sneak it across the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Oséas Gaúcho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Robinho de Azevedo. Oséas Gaúcho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Oséas Gaúcho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Praia Clube's Robinho de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oséas Gaúcho in the 41st minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claudinei Lucas to strike the kick off in the second half. Praia Clube were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after LOUCOZ BR's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gláuber de Salles took the corner. After taking down the ball on Praia Clube's corner Hélder Trevisan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jeremias Freitas quite easily take care of the ball. João Adolfo Damião might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Robinho de Azevedo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 61stth minute of the game Oséas Gaúcho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Praia Clube's Robinho de Azevedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Sydney Valadares fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Praia Clube's protests and gave Sydney Valadares a yellow card for diving instead.
