An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean Cardoso in the 4th minute of play forced Alleanza FC's goalkeeper Oscar Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cláudio de Barross short, quick shot in the 5thth minute got Oscar Sena to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sidney Tróia in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Falcão Fonseca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jean Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Sena having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cláudio de Barros got free with Oscar Sena in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Betinho Esteves in the 20th minute of play forced Rivers's goalkeeper Falcão Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute Betinho Esteves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falcão Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cláudio de Barros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Oscar Sena made a huge save. Sidney Tróia might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Falcão Fonseca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sidney Tróia ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 32nd minute, Betinho Esteves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alleanza FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Falcão Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betinho Esteves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michel Custódio during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Rivers booed when Alleanza FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michel Custódio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cláudio de Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Sena having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Betinho Esteves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Falcão Fonseca. Rivers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Betinho Esteves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Alleanza FC's Oscar Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean Cardoso in the 57th minute of play. Oscar Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cláudio de Barros in the 58th minute of the match. Falcão Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Betinho Esteves, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Falcão Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Betinho Esteves in the 65th minute of play. In the 67thth minute of the game Betinho Esteves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rivers's Falcão Fonseca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Betinho Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oscar Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean Cardoso in the 75th minute of play. After having played for 77 minutes, Cláudio de Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rivers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cláudio de Barros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oscar Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean Cardoso in the 81st minute of play. When Sidney Tróia came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Alleanza FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sidney Tróia couldn't finish the play. Falcão Fonseca was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Betinho Esteves showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 86 minute of play. Cláudio de Barros might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oscar Sena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cláudio de Barros ran back to his position shaking his head. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Alleanza FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
