Duarte de Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel Custódio having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Manchester United's Duarte de Alcântara ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Noel Custódio. Noel Custódio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Arraial FC's zone, Duarte de Alcântara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noel Custódio came out of the goal and Duarte de Alcântara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 25 played minutes Dudu Amaral rounded Arraial FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. After having played for 29 minutes, Frederico Jacinto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manchester United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frederico Jacinto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Duarte de Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel Custódio having to interfere. Geovanni Esteves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Fiori Arruda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacinto Carvalho. Manchester United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fiori Arruda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. An unexpected shot in the 42nd minute by Duarte de Alcântara got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Dudu Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Noel Custódio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Noel Custódio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1.
After some careless play in the Arraial FC defense, Geovanni Esteves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Noel Custódio. The Arraial FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Noel Custódio should have stopped the shot. Noel Custódio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dudu Amaral in the 58th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Manchester United's Frederico Jacinto got a free kick in the 60th minute. The supporters of Arraial FC booed when Manchester United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frederico Jacinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Noel Custódio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovanni Esteves, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Belmiro Sergipano hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Geovanni Esteves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manchester United's supporters rose to their feet, but Geovanni Esteves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Noel Custódio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Geovanni Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enéas Souto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Noel Custódio came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Manchester United's Dudu Amaral. But to his dismay, Dudu Amaral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. 82 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goalkeeper Jacinto Carvalho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yan Mandrak. Dudu Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel Custódio having to interfere. Arraial FC's Noel Custódio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovanni Esteves in the 84th minute of play. After 86 played minutes Arraial FC got a freekick which was hit by Gerson da Silveira. After some careless play in the Arraial FC defense, Geovanni Esteves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Noel Custódio. The Arraial FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Noel Custódio should have stopped the shot. When Enéas Souto came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Manchester United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enéas Souto couldn't finish the play. Duarte de Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel Custódio having to interfere. Enéas Souto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Noel Custódio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dudu Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Manchester United players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
