Marquinhos Proença was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Duarte de Alcântara blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marquinhos Proença having to make a save. In the 19th match minute, Camel FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelinho Aguiar to maneuver through the defense. Nando Alvarenga hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Hélio Cordeiro struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Jacinto Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Camel FC. If Caco Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Camel FC's Marquinhos Proença played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dudu Amaral in the 26th minute of play. If Frederico Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geovanni Esteves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marquinhos Proença read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Frederico Jacinto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 38th minute, Duarte de Alcântara made a precise shot to the right of Marquinhos Proença. Camel FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. 41 minutes into the match, Camel FC's goalkeeper Marquinhos Proença had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Geovanni Esteves. Duarte de Alcântara who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Marquinhos Proença when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Geovanni Esteves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Duarte de Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 53 minutes, Duarte de Alcântara made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Camel FC's Marquinhos Proença tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Manchester United's Duarte de Alcântara managed to work through Camel FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Duarte de Alcântara dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After having played for 59 minutes, Frederico Jacinto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manchester United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frederico Jacinto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 60 minutes of play, Manchester United's Geovanni Esteves made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marquinhos Proença was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 64th match minute, Manchester United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaká Pombal to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duarte de Alcântara in the 67th minute of play forced Camel FC's goalkeeper Marquinhos Proença to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Camel FC's goal looked a bit too open when Geovanni Esteves came free, but Marquinhos Proença reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Frederico Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frederico Jacinto during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Camel FC booed when Manchester United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frederico Jacinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cícero Antunes charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cícero Antunes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cícero Antunes kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Marquinhos Proença took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enéas Souto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute, Frederico Jacinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the match, Duarte de Alcântara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marquinhos Proença. Camel FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Duarte de Alcântara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0.
