The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kauan Loyola kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Antônio Carlos Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natã Vasconcelos, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Fiori Arruda's late challenge caught a Teta FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fiori Arruda helped the player get up and apologised. Antônio Carlos Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natã Vasconcelos in the 11th minute of play. Richard de Medeiros scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Noel Custódio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Richard de Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel Custódio having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Richard de Medeiros in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Noel Custódio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Teta FC's zone, Natã Vasconcelos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antônio Carlos Toledo came out of the goal and Natã Vasconcelos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Richard de Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Noel Custódio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Noel Custódio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard de Medeiros in the 41st minute of the match. In the 43rd minute of the match Danilo de Toledo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Noel Custódio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gerson da Silveira hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After 48 played minutes Arraial FC got a freekick which was hit by Natã Vasconcelos. After the first half Teta FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 54th minute, Egídio Nascimento fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Noel Custódio, passed just outside the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Egídio Nascimento got free with Noel Custódio in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arraial FC's Noel Custódio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard de Medeiros in the 58th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Richard de Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Teta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Richard de Medeiros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Noel Custódio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enrique de Almeida during the 61st minute. A collision led to Teta FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Kauan Loyola hit a great ball. When Gerson da Silveira fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arraial FC's protests and gave Gerson da Silveira a yellow card for diving instead. After 74 played minutes Arraial FC got a freekick which was hit by Gerson da Silveira. Richard de Medeiros received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Noel Custódio came out and tried to block the shot, but Richard de Medeiros slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 84th minute. Noel Custódio came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Teta FC's Egídio Nascimento. But to his dismay, Egídio Nascimento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Noel Custódio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Egídio Nascimento in the 93rd minute. Richard de Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teta FC played a much better game than Arraial FC and deserved their victory. The Arraial FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
