Simão Vargas was a little too slow when Lucas de Alcântara got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 2-0. Lucas de Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Baltazar Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Lucas de Alcântara took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Simão Vargas to make any attempt to save it. After 31 played minutes Paraju got a freekick which was hit by Charles Falcão. Simão Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltazar Ceresso in the 32nd minute of play. The supporters of Floresta de Nottinghan booed when Paraju was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kléber Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hílton Monteiro struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Simão Vargas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Floresta de Nottinghan. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucas de Alcântara in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Simão Vargas saved Paraju from getting behind. Renan Quirino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Lucas de Alcântara put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Simão Vargas. Geraldo Dracena hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that Floresta de Nottinghan were the better team. Floresta de Nottinghan's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
