When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and João Augusto Reis made a kick off. After 53 played minutes Onos got a freekick which was hit by Valdomiro do Valle. Hélio Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Zé Carlos Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zé Carlos Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Augusto Reis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zé Carlos Ramos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélio Silveira in the 60th minute of the match. Geovânio Ortiz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Pedro Amaral's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. When Faustão Mazza fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Onos's protests and gave Faustão Mazza a yellow card for diving instead. Faustão Mazza hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match.
