Legolas Futebol Club's Anselmo Branco got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valdo Veiga during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th minute, Valdo Veiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute Baltazar Ceresso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldinho Pimenta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baltazar Ceresso in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ronaldinho Pimenta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas de Alcântara in the 22nd minute of play forced Legolas Futebol Club's goalkeeper Ronaldinho Pimenta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Floresta de Nottinghan fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Floresta de Nottinghan's Lucas de Alcântara looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Floresta de Nottinghan's Baltazar Ceresso got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31stth minute of the game Lucas de Alcântara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Legolas Futebol Club's Ronaldinho Pimenta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Baltazar Ceresso took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ronaldinho Pimenta. Ronaldinho Pimenta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 39 minutes into the game, Pedro Barreto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dudu Souto. Pedro Barreto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. When Lucas de Alcântara came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Floresta de Nottinghan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas de Alcântara couldn't finish the play. Dudu Souto made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Anselmo Branco sent off a good shot on target. After the first half Floresta de Nottinghan were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucas de Alcântara made a kick off. With a little luck, Legolas Futebol Club's Ronaldinho Pimenta got control of the ball when Lucas de Alcântara tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ronaldinho Pimenta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltazar Ceresso in the 53rd minute of play. Baltazar Ceresso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldinho Pimenta having to interfere. With splendid footwork Lucas de Alcântara arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-4 by the left pole in the game's 57th minute. Lucas de Alcântara received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ronaldinho Pimenta came out and tried to block the shot, but Lucas de Alcântara slotted it home off the left post making it 2-5 in the 60th minute. Teodoro Fiz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Ronaldinho Pimenta skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Anselmo Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Legolas Futebol Club's Cássio Viana suffered a concussion after 73 minutes and had to leave the field. In the 74th match minute, Floresta de Nottinghan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas de Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. Lucas de Alcântara's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 76thth minute, Ronaldinho Pimenta skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Floresta de Nottinghan booed when Legolas Futebol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Fernando Martins didn't get a good kick on the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Legolas Futebol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Baltazar Ceresso came free, but Ronaldinho Pimenta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute of the match Narciso Gerber sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ronaldinho Pimenta skillfully saved the ball. Legolas Futebol Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Lucas de Alcântara scored to the left of an out of position Ronaldinho Pimenta, making the score, 2-6. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Lucas de Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Floresta de Nottinghan's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas de Alcântara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronaldinho Pimenta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lucas de Alcântara did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-7 to the left of a surprised Ronaldinho Pimenta 91 minutes into the match. Lucas de Alcântara's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ronaldinho Pimenta firmly grabbed it by the left post.
