Maurinho Rossi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dudu Gaspar having to interfere. Luís Fernando Batista hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Betinho Lara came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by TheShield FC's Renato Campidelis. But to his dismay, Renato Campidelis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chico Galvão in the 17th minute of play forced TheShield FC's goalkeeper Dudu Gaspar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Betinho Lara didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Renato Campidelis went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Maurinho Rossi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Dudu Gaspar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chico Galvão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, TheShield FC's Claudinho Nunes got a free kick in the 25th minute. Maurinho Rossi hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Dudu Gaspar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maurinho Rossi in the 31st minute. 38 minutes into the match, TheShield FC's goal looked a bit too open when Chico Galvão came free, but Dudu Gaspar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Maurinho Rossi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CACIQUE FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juan Bittencourt made a kick off. Maurinho Rossi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dudu Gaspar having to interfere. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind TheShield FC's goalkeeper Dudu Gaspar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurinho Rossi in the 57th minute of play forced TheShield FC's goalkeeper Dudu Gaspar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, TheShield FC's goal looked a bit too open when Chico Galvão came free, but Dudu Gaspar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dudu Gaspar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chico Galvão's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. After a defensive mix-up in TheShield FC's zone, Maurinho Rossi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dudu Gaspar came out of the goal and Maurinho Rossi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dudu Gaspar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chico Galvão's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Chico Galvão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Dudu Gaspar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adrianinho Queiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Jardel Mesquita, 72 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 74 minutes into the match, CACIQUE FC's Chico Galvão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dudu Gaspar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Maurinho Rossi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dudu Gaspar having to interfere. When Maurinho Rossi came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the CACIQUE FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maurinho Rossi couldn't finish the play. Chico Galvão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dudu Gaspar having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurinho Rossi in the 90th minute of play forced TheShield FC's goalkeeper Dudu Gaspar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Adrianinho Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Renato Campidelis managed to get in a good position for a shot. TheShield FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Renato Campidelis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Betinho Lara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Maurinho Rossi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CACIQUE FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing TheShield FC to leave the ground with a draw.
