Spectators: 7068 (Terracing: 5443, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gilvan Vides got the match started through his kick off. Jano Pires kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Mocidade's goal looked a bit too open when Hortêncio Urbano came free, but Diego Tande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mocidade's Pedrinho de Godoi got a free kick in the 6th minute. Danilo Salles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luís Fabiano Aparecido didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Glauco Arruda went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilvan Vides got free with Luís Fabiano Aparecido in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ismael Mineiro charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ismael Mineiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 19 minutes, Gilvan Vides made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Power Rangers's Luís Fabiano Aparecido tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The attack was good, but when Gilvan Vides in the 23rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 30th minute, Geraldo Motta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 31st match minute, Mocidade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedrinho de Godoi to maneuver through the defense. Geraldo Motta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Tande having to interfere. In the 35th minute of the match João Adolfo do Valle sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luís Fabiano Aparecido skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Gilvan Vides managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mocidade's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilvan Vides was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Fabiano Aparecido breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Glauco Arruda struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Luís Fabiano Aparecido didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mocidade. In the 42nd minute, Gilvan Vides got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Geraldo Motta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Glauco Arruda in the 51st minute of play forced Power Rangers's goalkeeper Luís Fabiano Aparecido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Fabiano Aparecido came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Mocidade's Glauco Arruda. But to his dismay, Glauco Arruda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Power Rangers's zone, Danilo Salles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Fabiano Aparecido came out of the goal and Danilo Salles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 62nd minute, Almir Esteves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 62 played minutes, Power Rangers's Alberto Rezende shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Diego Tande came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Power Rangers reached it. In the 63rd match minute, Mocidade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilvan Vides to maneuver through the defense. If Danilo Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luís Fabiano Aparecido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilvan Vides in the 69th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Gilvan Vides ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Fabiano Aparecido was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. After a defensive mix-up in Mocidade's zone, Hortêncio Urbano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diego Tande came out of the goal and Hortêncio Urbano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Geraldo Motta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Tande having to interfere. After having played for 81 minutes, Danilo Salles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mocidade's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danilo Salles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 83 minutes, Hortêncio Urbano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
