The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. TheShield FC's Dudu Gaspar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Goiano in the 9th minute of play. Dudu Gaspar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Goiano in the 12th minute of the match. Juan Bittencourt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Galvão having to interfere. Adrianinho Queiroz hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 19thth minute of the game Bruno Goiano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TheShield FC's Dudu Gaspar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Régis Zanette charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Régis Zanette the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 26 played minutes TheShield FC got a freekick which was hit by Régis Zanette. 29 minutes into the match, TheShield FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benê dos Santos came free, but Dudu Gaspar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, TheShield FC's Renato Campidelis got a free kick in the 31st minute. Renato Campidelis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Gabriel Galvão skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 40 minutes into the match, TheShield FC's Juan Bittencourt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gabriel Galvão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 41 minutes into the game, Enrique Hoffmann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sana SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TheShield FC the free kick. In the 41st match minute, Sana SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Hoffmann to maneuver through the defense. Sana SC's Gabriel Galvão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Sana SC from getting a goal against them. Gabriel Galvão didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 46th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Juan Bittencourt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gabriel Galvão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Renato Campidelis's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. In the 61st minute, Juan Bittencourt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TheShield FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. When TheShield FC's Renato Campidelis in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sana SC's goalie prevented a goal. 67 minutes into the match, Sana SC's goal looked a bit too open when Renato Campidelis came free, but Gabriel Galvão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the TheShield FC defense, Benê dos Santos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dudu Gaspar. The TheShield FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dudu Gaspar should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Sana SC's zone, Renato Campidelis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Galvão came out of the goal and Renato Campidelis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sana SC's goalkeeper Gabriel Galvão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Sana SC's zone, Juan Bittencourt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Galvão came out of the goal and Juan Bittencourt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juan Bittencourt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juan Bittencourt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabriel Galvão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. João Vítor Medeiros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dudu Gaspar made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Benê dos Santos sent off a good shot on target. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. TheShield FC fully deserved thier win.
