After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Hortêncio Urbano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Power Rangers's supporters rose to their feet, but Hortêncio Urbano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juan Bittencourt made a kick off. TheShield FC's Juan Bittencourt got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Power Rangers's Luís Fabiano Aparecido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renato Campidelis in the 55th minute of play. Juan Bittencourt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luís Fabiano Aparecido having to make a save. Luís Fabiano Aparecido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Bittencourt in the 59th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hortêncio Urbano got free with Dudu Gaspar in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 63 minutes into the match, Power Rangers's goal looked a bit too open when Renato Campidelis came free, but Luís Fabiano Aparecido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Renato Campidelis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Fabiano Aparecido having to interfere.
