A collision led to Itacaja SS getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Delfim Pinheiro hit a great ball. Leopoldo Catarinense kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Dalmo Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reinaldo Pitta in the 26th minute of the match. Noel Rezende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Donato Mazza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ludovico FC's Dalmo Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delfim Pinheiro in the 40th minute of play. Reinaldo Pitta struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Dalmo Almeida didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itacaja SS. 44 minutes into the game, Percy Albuquerque was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ludovico FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Itacaja SS the free kick. Percy Albuquerque hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the match, Ludovico FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo Alvarenga came free, but Dalmo Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reinaldo Pitta was the one to do the kick off. Delfim Pinheiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dalmo Almeida read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Donato Mazza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Eduardo Garcia in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 64th minute Noel Rezende shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Mazza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Delfim Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, Noel Rezende notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Itacaja SS's Donato Mazza. Donato Mazza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leopoldo Catarinense's late challenge caught a Itacaja SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leopoldo Catarinense helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ludovico FC's Leopoldo Catarinense got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 84th match minute, Ludovico FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noel Rezende to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute, Ludovico FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mateus da Fonseca fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcinho Messias during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
